1 Introduction

1-1 PLEXTALK Recording Software Features

  1. PLEXTALK Recording Software (Abbreviated name:PRS) is pacifically designed for blind people and low vision people who wish to record and edit on *DAISY format by themselves. This software can be realized smooth transaction to perform the DAISY recording and editing through burning the CD media just this software.

    *DAISY stands for Digital Accessible Information SYstem. DAISY is the information system developed as an international standard of the digital talking book.

  2. All the information and necessary navigation will be provided by voice guidance function that can be controlled all the function by keyboard.
    As to voice guidance function are using text to speech engine which is conformable to Microsoft Speech API 4.0.

  3. Recording sound automatically punctuates to detect the length of silence which called "phrase", so the phrase unit (sound) can be handled and compiled by copy, cut and paste like a word processor.

  4. In order to materialized long time recording the digital sound data is compressed by MP3 encoding which can be realized to recording maximum 90 hours just one CD, and you can choose PCM format (Non compressed) which is suitable for high quality master data. Additionally, this software featuring in the audio export and import function that feature can be exchanged the audio format as your desired format.

  5. This Software includes writing function into CD-R/RW, therefore you do not necessary to provide another CD-R/RW writing software.

  6. You may control volume for line-in or mic or recording or playback on the fly, you do not necessary to open the sound control diagram.

  7. You can import the DAISY 2.0 (2.02) format to your PC hard disk for your desired editing further functionally, you can combine multiple title book to one book.

  8. Text import function, you can import your desired text data to audio data using text to speech engine.

To run the PRS you need reasonable operating environment on your system as follows.

To comply with Microsoft Speech API 4.0 as following TTS engine. (Included this software)

1-4 Installation and uninstallation

This chapter explains how to install and uninstall PLEXTALK Recording Software.

1-4-1 Installation

To install PLEXTALK Recording Software, do the following.
  1. To connect the PLEXTALK Portable Recorder (PTR1) with your computer in order to recognize external drive itself.
    (Note) You can not install without recognition of the PTR1.
  2. Insert the "User's Guide CD" into PTR1, and open "PRS" folder, then execute "PRSsetup2_01E.exe".






    If PTR1 can not recognize, Severe dialog will pop up, please make sure to connect the PC with PTR1 through the USB cable.



  3. Welcome dialog will pop up, then to continue, press "Next" button.



  4. License agreement will pop up.
    Please read the license agreement carefully, and accept it, press "Yes" button.
    If you do not accept it, press "No" button, then setup will be aborted.



  5. "Choose Destination Location" dialog will pop up, then select installation folder, and press "Install" button.



  6. Installation process will start.



  7. When installation is finished, "InstallShield Wizard Complete" dialog will pop up.
    Press"Finish" button, and restart your computer.

1-4-2 Uninstallation

To uninstall PLEXTALK Recording Software, do the following.

  1. From the Windows Start menu, select Settings | Control Panel.
    Windows Control Panel will pop up, then select "Add/Remove Programs".



  2. "Add/Remove Programs" dialog will pop up.
    In the list of programs in the dialog box, select "PLEXTALK Recording Software", and press "Change/Remove" button.



  3. Following Question dialog will pop up.
    "Whenever install the PRS on your PC, you need the PLEXTALK Portable Recorder (PTR1) and the original installation disc."
    "Do you wish to completely remove "PLEXTALK Recording Software" and all the its components?"

    To remove PRS, press "Yes" button.



  4. Uninstallation process will start.



  5. "Maintenance Complete" dialog will pop up, then press "Finish" button.
    Uninstallation has been finished.

1-5 How to start and exit

1-5-1 Start

To start PRS, do the following.

  1. Execute "Program" - "PLEXTALK Recording Software" - "PLEXTALK Recording Software" from Start Menu or execute "PLEXTALK Recording Software" shortcut on the desktop.

  2. When start it, "Selection of the operation" dialog will pop up.
    If you wish to create new project, select "New" operation, and if you wish to open existing project, select "Open" operation, then press Enter key.


1-5-2 Exit

To exit PRS, do the following.

  1. Select "Exit (X)" from the menu "File (F)" or press Alt + F4 key.
  2. Exit confirmation dialog will pop up, then press Enter key.

1-6 Voice guidance function

To set up the voice guidance function, do the following.
Voice guidance will announce all the information in sound such as name of the key except Arrow key which function is required to use blind handicap user as well as first timer.

  1. Select "Voice Guidance (G)" from the menu "Option (O)".
  2. "Voice guidance setting" dialog will pop up, and set the voice guidance function whether "On" or "Off".

    1) Guidance at Editing / You can set up voice guidance function whether "On" or "Off" while editing. If you selected "NO", recording voice guidance automatically set "Off".

    2) Guidance at recording / You can set up the voice guidance whether "On" or "Off" while recording.



  3. Press Enter key to set up.
    Note) Once you selected the voice guidance, it will be default value whenever you start the PRS.

1-7 Operation from the keyboard

In PRS, all the functions can be operated from the keyboard.
And operations correspond to generally used keyboard operations in Windows, and major key function.
The following explanation shows the available keyboard commands for major function.

For more detail information , see "Appendix 2. List of shortcut-key".

1-7-1 Tab key

Tab key is used to switch over the items on the main dialog and setting dialog.
On the main dialog, it switches over the item from section list to phrase list and vice versa.
On the setting dialog, it changes over the selected item.

1-7-2 Arrow key

Arrow key is used to change over the setting value of a selected item.
On the main dialog, it changes the current position on the section list or phrase list.
On the setting dialog, it changes the setting value of the selected item.

1-7-3 Alt key

Alt key is used to select menu command from the main dialog.
Press Alt key once on the main dialog and then, choose a menu functions by the Arrow key.
For details, see "Appendix 1. List of main menu".

1-7-4 Enter key

Enter key is used to decide actions.
For example, confirming actions, executing menu actions, closing dialog after saving, and so on.

1-7-5 Esc key

Esc key is used to cancel actions.
For example, confirming cancel actions, canceling menu actions, closing dialog without change, and so on.

1-7-6 F12 key or F9 key

F12 (F9) key is used to guide the information of active dialog.

Note) F12 (F9) key functions is only affect voice guidance setting as "On".

1-7-7 Shift + F1 key

When Shift + F1 key is pressed while choosing on the main dialog, current input volume (mic or line in or other input source)
/ wave out volume / current section number / total section number / current phrase number / total phrase number / recording audio format / recorded audio format in sound.

1-7-8 Ctrl key

Ctrl key is used to mute the any voice guidance.

1-8 Select the language

With function of the language choice, you can select the language as well as your favor voice from included speech engine also pitch, speed and volume.
*PLEXTOR has no obligation to guarantee other text to speech engine.
  1. Select "Selection of the TTS engine (S)" from the menu "Option (O)".
  2. "Selection of the TTS engine" dialog will pop up, then select your favorite text to speech engine by Arrow key.



  3. In the top right corner is the pitch control , if you wish to adjust the pitch by keyboard, to jump by Tab key then use Right or Left Arrow key.
  4. Just below the pitch control, is the speed control, if you wish to adjust the speed by keyboard to jump by Tab key then use Right or Left Arrow key.
  5. Just below the speed control, is the volume control, if you wish to adjust the volume by keyboard to jump by Tab key then use Right or Left Arrow key.
  6. If you mistake to setup the pitch or speed or volume, you can choose "Default" button to jump by Tab key.
  7. After setup, press Enter key or push OK button.
  8. Note) Once you setting the each control, it will be default value setting whenever you start the PRS.

2 Description of main dialog

This chapter explains the detail of the description of main dialog.

2-1 Dialog display

The following explanation is composition of the main dialog.

The main dialog consists of section list and phrase list.
The section list is displayed on the upper half of the main dialog which consists of section number, level number, heading, total phrase number, length as time, page information (beginning of page and end of page and page count) and comment.
The phrase list is displayed on the lower half of the main dialog which consists of phrase number, length as time, pause (silence) length as time, group, page, mark, and audio file name.

Upper tool buttons
Between the section list and the phrase list, there are 7 tool buttons.
Started from the left, Level-up button, Level-down button, Section creation button, Group button, Page button, Recording method switching button, and Play speed switching button.

Lower tool buttons
Below the phrase list , there are 7 buttons.
Started from the left, FBACK button, BACK button, PLAY button, FWD button, FFWD button, Stop button and Record button.

Monitoring display
Located on the right on the phrase list, there are Level monitor, Recording volume slider, Playback volume slider, Section information window, Phrase information window, and Status window, Recording audio format window and Recorded audio format window.

Tool bar
There are 13 types of tool bar just above the section list, shows the available functions as Create new project, Open, Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo, Recording setting, Build book, CD writing, Find heading, Book information, Storage information and HTML Help from the left.

Menu bar
There are 7 types of menu bar at the upper left corner, shows the menu headings for the available functions as File, Edit, Move, Control, Tool, Option and Help from the left .
The available menu detail as well as shortcut key, see "Appendix 2. List of shortcut-key".

2-2 Description of the each functions

This chapter explains the detail of the description of the each function.
Section List
Displays section list information such as section number, level, heading, number of phrases, length as time, page information, and comment.
Phrase List Displays phrase list information such as phrase number, length as time, pause (silence) length as time, group, page, mark, and audio file name.
Level-up button Raises hierarchy level of the section.
Level-down button Lowers hierarchy level of the section.
Section creation button Creates new section during recording, splits the section during editing.
Group button: Gives group check or remove.
Page button Gives page check or remove.
Recording method switching button: Switches recording method.
Switching methods include "overwrite" and "punch in".
Play speed switching button: Switches playback speed.
You can select from "0.75", "1", "1.5", "2", and "3" times.
FBACK button Selects the first phrase in the phrase list.
BACK button Selects the previous phrase.
PLAY button Starts continuous playing.
FWD button Selects the next phrase.
FFWD button Selects the last position of the phrase list.
Stop button Stops playing or recording.
Recording button One press starts test recording and the second press starts recording.
Double-clicking starts recording immediately.
Level monitor

Indicates volume level of playback or recording.

Recording volume slider: Changes input volume level.
(Line-in or Mic-in or Other-in)
Playback volume slider: Changes output volume level.
(Wave-out)
Section indicator Indicates the current section number (left) and the total section number (right).
Phrase indicator Indicates the current phrase number (left) and the total phrase number (right).
Status indicator (Playback) Indicates the current status.
The status will be indicated as "PLAY".
Status indicator (Stop) Indicates the current status.
The status will be indicated as "STOP".
Status indicator (Test recording) Indicates the current status.
The status will be indicated as "TEST". (same as record monitoring status)
Status indicator (Pause in recording) Indicates the current status.
The status will be indicated as "PAUSE".
Status indicator (Recording) Indicates the current status.
The status will be indicated as "REC".
Recording audio format indicator Indicates the selected recording audio format.
You can record by this audio format.
Recorded audio format indicator Indicates the recorded audio format of the selected phrase.

 

2-3 Changing the dialog font

This chapter explains how to change the dialog font.
You can change font size of the lists (section list and phrase list) and message dialog box.


2-3-1 How to change the list font

To change the list font size, select "List font size (F)" from the menu "Option (O)", then choose your desired font size from
Largest (G) / Large ( L) / Smaller (S) / Smallest (A).
Largest is 2.5, Large is 2.0, Smaller is 1.5, Smallest is 1.0 times size compared to Windows icon's font size.

2-3-2 How to change the message font

To change the message dialog font size, select "Message Font Size (M)" from the menu "Option (O)", then choose your desired font size from
Largest (G) / Large (L) / Smaller (S) / Smallest (A).
Largest is 2.5, Large is 2.0, Smaller is 1.5, Smallest is 1.0 times size compared to Windows message box's font size.

3 Preparation for making the book

3-1 Preparation for the new project

This chapter explains how to make a new project.

To make a new project, do the following.

  1. Select "New (N)" from the menu "File (F)" or press Ctrl + N key.



  2. "Setting of the recording format" dialog will pop up, and you can select sound formats from 1) PCM 44.1kHz Stereo, 2) PCM 44.1kHz Mono, 3)PCM 22.05kHz Mono, 4) MP3 128kbps Stereo, 5) MP3 64kbps Mono, 6) MP3 48kbps Mono, 7) MP3 32kbps Mono, 8) MP3 24kbps Mono, 9) MP3 16kbps Mono.

    PCM format shown sampling frequency and MP3 format shown bit rate that indicated number means sound quality.
    Note)
    Once you selected the the sound format for the project, that can not change while editing, but if you use audio export function, you can change sound format for the new project.

  2. Input dialog will pop up, then you can move the option from 1) to 6).

    1) File name (Alt+N)
    2) File select (Alt+T)
    3) Save (Alt+S)
    4) Cancel (Esc)
    5) Save in (Alt+I)
    6) List view

    1) File name (Alt+N)
    Input the project name.
    Note: Designate the name of the document within 63 alphanumeric characters which automatically made the folder.

    2) Save as type (Alt+T)
    You do not necessary to select type of save which automatically fix the project file.

    3) Save (Alt+S)
    When you may finish selecting the place to save in, press "Save" button or Alt + S key.

    4) Cancel (Esc)
    If you wish to cancel to input the project file name, you may press "Cancel" button or Esc key.

    5) Save in (Alt+I)
    Select your designated place to save as project file.
    To use Down Arrow key or Right Arrow key at once, you may choose any place by Arrow key.

    6) List view
    In the list view, folder list are indicated at your designated place of "5) Save in".
    To use Right Arrow key or Spacebar once, you may select your designated folder by Up or Down Arrow key.
    When you select the folder and press Enter key, you can open selected folder.
    When you press Back Space key, you can move up the hierarchy position.

  3. When you may finish selecting the place to save in, press "Save" button or Alt + S key.
  4. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key.
  5. The book information dialog will pop up, then input it and press Enter key.
    For more detail about the book information, see "3-4 Setting with the book information".
  6. Result) New folder was created as your input project name.

3-2 To open the existing book in your PC hard disk

This chapter explains how to open the existing project in your PC hard disk.
To open your existing project, do the following.

  1. Select "Open (O)" from the menu "File (F)" or press Ctrl + O key.



  2. Open dialog will pop up, then you can move the option from 1) to 6) by using Tab key.

    1) File name (Alt+N)
    2) File of type (Alt+T)
    3) Open (Alt+O)
    4) Cancel (Esc)
    5) Look in (Alt+I)
    6) List view

    1) File name (Alt+N)
    Select the project file as "Ncc.imdn".

    2) Files of type (Alt+T)
    Select "Ncc.imdn" which is project file name.

    3) Open (Alt+O)
    When you may finish selecting the open file, press "Open" button or Alt + O key.

    4) Cancel (Esc)

    If you wish to cancel to open the project, you may press "Cancel" button or Esc key.

    5) Look In (Alt+I)
    Select your designated place in your hard disk space.
    To use Down Arrow key or Right Arrow key at once, you may choose any place by Arrow key.

    6) List view
    In the list view, folder list are indicated at your designated place of "5) Look in".
    To use Right Arrow key or Spacebar once, you may select your designated project file ("Ncc.imdn") by Up or Down Arrow key.
    When you select the folder and press Enter key, you can open selected folder.
    When you press Back Space key, you can move up the hierarchy position.

  3. When you may finish selecting the open file, press "Open" button or Alt + O key.
  4. Result) Open the existing project.

3-3 Preparation for CD book for editing

This chapter explains how to import the contents data on your PC hard disk from CD book.
This procedure is useful if you wish to edit the contents which you have recorded by PLEXTALK Portable Recorder (PTR1).

  1. Select "Open (O)" from the menu "File (F)" or press Ctrl + O key.



  2. Then open dialog will pop up, then you can move the option from 1) to 6) by using Tab key.

    1) File name (Alt+N)
    2) Files of type (Alt+T)
    3) Open (Alt+O)
    4) Cancel (Esc)
    5) Look in (Alt+I)
    6) List view

    1) File name (Alt+N)
    Select the navigation control file as "Ncc.html" or "Ncc.htm".

    2) Files of type (Alt+T)
    Change from project file (Ncc.imdn) to the navigation control file (Ncc.html or Ncc.htm).

    3) Open (Alt+O)
    When you may finish selecting the open file, press "Open" button or Alt + O key.

    4) Cancel (Esc)
    If you wish to cancel to open the project, you may press "Cancel" button or Esc key.

    5) Look In (Alt+I)
    Select your designated place (e.g. CD drive).
    To use Down Arrow key or Right Arrow key at once, you may choose any place by Arrow key.

    6) List view
    In the list view, folder list are indicated at your designated place of "5) Look in".
    To use Right Arrow key or Spacebar once, you may select your designated navigation control file by Up or Down Arrow key.
    When you select the folder and press Enter key, you can open selected folder.
    When you press Back Space key, you can move up the hierarchy position.

  3. When you may finish selecting the open file, press "Open" button or Alt + O key.



  4. Input dialog will pop up.
    Note) If audio files of selected project are not supported by PRS, "Setting of the recording format" dialog will pop up. Then you may select the recording format.
    Then you can move the following option from 1) to 6).

    1) File name (Alt+N)
    2) File select (Alt+T)
    3) Save (Alt+S)
    4) Cancel (Esc)
    5) Save in (Alt+I)
    6) List view

    1) File name (Alt+N)
    Input the project name.
    Note: Designate the name of the document within 63 alphanumeric characters which automatically made the folder.

    To use Right Arrow key or Spacebar once, you may select your designated folder by Up or Down Arrow key.
    When you select the folder and press Enter key, you can open selected folder.
    When you press Back Space key, you can move up the hierarchy position.

  5. When you may finish selecting the place to save in, press "Save" button or Alt + S key.
  6. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key.
  7. "DAISY2.0 import" dialog will pop up, then press Enter key to start the DAISY import.
  8. Result) After finish the DAISY import function, it can be imported the project on your PC hard disk from CD.

3-4 Setting with the book information

This chapter explains how to set the book information.
  1. Select "Book information (B)" from the menu "Option (O)" or press Ctrl + I key.



  2. "Setting of the book information" dialog will pop up, then enter title, author, ISBN , identifier, publisher, language, narrator, and character set.

    Title
    Enter the title of book
    Author
    Enter the author name of book
    ISBN
    Enter the ISBN of book
    Identifier
    Enter the some identified at organization
    Publisher
    Enter the name who produce digital talking book or name of organization
    Language
    Enter the your designated language
    Narrator
    Enter the name of narrator
    Character set
    Default setting as iso-8859-1

  3. Fill in the book information, press Enter key.
    Note) For the date of issue that automatically input when build book is executed.

4 Play

4-1 Play and stop a phrase

To play and stop a phrase, do the following.

To play continuously, do the following.

4-3 Synchronize playing while moving

If you wish to play the section or phrase to synchronize when the position is moved.
Herein explain to play when move into the section.
  1. Select section list on the main dialog using Tab key.
  2. Move your designated section position using Up and Down Arrow keys, and then, first phrase of the destination section will play.
    When you wish to listen the same phrase once again, press Right and Left Arrow keys.

Herein explain to play when move into the phrase.

  1. Select phrase list on the main dialog using Tab key.
  2. Move your designated phrase position using Up and Down Arrow keys, and then, the destination phrase will play.
    When you wish to listen once again, press Right and Left Arrow keys

4-4 Adjustment of playback speed

To change the playback speed, do the following.

4-5 To search and play a desired position

If you wish to listen the heading or phrase in order to search your desired position, herein explain "Heading search", "Event jump" and "Mark jump".

4-5-1 Heading search

Heading means text information which is setting for each section. See the details "6-6-1 Setting the heading".
Using heading search , you can search specified character string in heading text information then directly jump to searched section.
  1. Select "Find Heading (F)" from the menu "Move" or press Ctrl + F key, then "Heading search" dialog will pop up.



  2. Input your search characters on the "Heading search" dialog, then press Enter key.

  3. Result) You can jump to the section that is excluded searching character string in the heading text information, then first phrase will playback.
    Also if you continuously search the character, press Enter key.
Whenever searched character string is not found in the section list, as soon as pop up the End confirmation dialog.

4-5-2 Event jump

Event means "First phrase of each section", "Phrase which was set as page" and "Phrase which was set as group".
Note) "Phrase which was set as mark" isn't included.
Using event jump command, you can jump from the current phrase position to the next event, or previous event.

4-5-3 Mark jump

Mark means the phrase attribute for putting the mark on the specific phrase.
Using mark jump command, you can jump from the current phrase position to the next mark, or previous mark

5 Recording

5-1 Before recording

Volume which can be adjusted "Line in" or "Mic in" with volume slider on the main dialog.
You can switch over whether "Line" or "Microphone", to select "Selection of the record volume control (V)" from the menu "Control (C)".

As to Line : To select "Line" when you record from external equipment such as cassette deck (Line out) to plug in the PC sound card (Line in).

As to Microphone: To select "Microphone" when you connect microphone to mic in jack at PC sound card directly.

5-2 Select of the recording mode

PRS has two type of recording mode "overwrite recording" and "punch-in recording".
To switch over the recording mode, select "Recording mode (M)" from the menu "Control (C)", or press F7 key.
Ex. if the current recording mode is "overwrite", you can switch over to "punch-in", as well as if the current recording mode is "punch-in",
you can switch over to "overwrite"
Note) Once you setting it, it will be default value setting whenever you start the PRS.



5-3 Overwrite recording

Herein explain that how to use overwrite recording.

The overwrite recording means, to overwrite from the next phrase to the currently selected phrase.

  1. To confirm current recording mode as "Overwrite recording" by F7 key.
  2. Move your desired phrase position which you wish to overwrite.
  3. Select "Recording (R)" from the menu "Control (C)" or press F8 key.
    Test recording will be started. For details, see "5-5 Adjusting of recording volume".
  4. Select "Recording (R)" from the menu "Control (C)" again or press F8 key.
    Note) Press Shift + F8 key, you can omit the test recording.
When you start the recording, it will be kept the pause status once until you are inputted the source, once the source has been detected ,
it will begin the recording automatically.
Note) To renew the section during recording, press Insert key.
  1. To stop recording, select "Stop (S)" from the menu "Control (C)" or press Spacebar.

5-4 Punch-In recording

Herein explain that how to use punch in recording.

The punch-in recording mode is used when you want to record over a region of data in an existing data.

  1. To confirm current recording mode as "Punch-in recording" by F7 key.
  2. Set the phrase position to the head of the unnecessary phrase.
  3. Select "Recording (R)" from the menu "Control (C)" or press F8 key.



  4. "Select the phrase for delete" dialog will pop up, to specify the scope of deletion by using Arrow keys.
    When the scope of deletion has changed, the phrase will be played for your recognition.
    Note) If you do not necessary to delete the phrase, specify the deletion range as "Nothing".
    Note) To check your selected phrase, press F5 key. The selected phrase will be played, also you can reconfirm all your selected phrase, press Shift + F5 key.
  5. Specify the scope of deletion and press Enter key. PRS will be test recording for details, see "5-5 Adjusting of recording volume"
  6. Select "Recording (R)" from the menu "Control (C)" once again or press F8 key.
    However, before you input the source, it will be keep the pause. Once you input your source, it will begin the recording automatically.
  7. To stop recording, select "Stop (S)" from the menu "Control (C)" or press Spacebar.

5-5 Adjusting of recording volume

Herein explain that how to adjust recording volume.

If recording volume is too high, clipping will be occurred, and the detection of phrase does not work properly.
On the contrary, if recording volume is too low, it is difficult to listen, and the detection of phrase does not work properly.
Therefore, recording volume should be adjusted proper value as much as possible.

To adjust the recording volume, do the following.

  1. Select "Recording (R)" from the menu "Control (C)" or press F8 key to start test recording (Monitoring mode).



  2. Enter external sound then adjust recording volume.
Adjustment of recording volume is now completed.

5-6 Confirmation of storage information

Herein explain that how to get the storage information.
You can get several information such as Recording format, Recorded time, Recorded capacity, Remaining time and Remaining capacity.
To get the storage information, do the following.
  1. Select "Storage information (S)" from the menu "Tool (T)" or Ctrl + S key, "Storage information" dialog will pop up.



    Recording format Recording audio format
    (Setting of the recording format)
    Recorded time Recorded time
    Recorded capacity How much data you have used
    Remaining time Remaining time for additional recording .
    Remaining capacity Remaining capacity on the hard disk.

  2. Press Enter key and the "Storage information" dialog will be closed.

5-7 Setting for recording

Herein explains that how to set up the recording function.
In cases that the detection of phrase does not work properly, or changing the recording speed from 1X to 2X, you can change setting of the recording function.
To change setting of the recording function, do the following.
  1. Select "Recording (R)" from the menu "Option (O)" or press Ctrl + R key, "Setting of the recording function" dialog will pop up.



    You can change the recording setting whenever you required.
    From the upper box, "Phrase pause time", "Noise level", "Section pause time", "Create a new audio file", "Time to stop recording", "Record speed", and "The opened folder when new creation".

    1) Setting for the phrase detection.

    Pause time "Pause time" is silent time when phrase does divide when you wish to change the time to divide phrases. Setting can be made by the unit of 0.1 second from "0.2 second to 0.7 second, and the initial default value is 0.4 second. When you choose shorter pause time, phrase can be divided easily.
    Noise level "Noise level" is level of background noise. To adjust noise level, while phrases cannot be divided. There are three type of set values: "high", "normal" and "low". The initial set value is "normal". Use "normal" for normal case. When background noise is high then phrases can not be divided, set the value to be"high". When background is noiseless , set the value to "low".

    2) Setting for the section detection.

    Section pause time "Section pause time " is used when you want to record by automatically renewing sections by the length of silence in conjunction with cassette tape etc. Set value can be specified by 1 second each between 1 second" and"5 seconds". When silent time is detected during recording, section is renewed automatically, then recorded in the next new section. If the value is set to "nothing ", this setting is invalid. The default value is "nothing ".
    Note) "Section pause time" is effective only in overwrite recording.

    Create a new audio file

    "Create a new audio file" is setting for automatically create a audio file when renew the section. The default set value is "Yes" for normal case. When you record conference or meeting that sound level is too low, set the value to be "No". Then you can record low sound level.

    3) Setting for options

    Time to stop recording "Time to stop recording " is function that automatically stops recording when silence continues during recording. Use this function in conjunction with cassette tape . Set value can be set by 10 seconds each between "10 seconds" and "30 seconds". When silence of the time set here is detected during recording, recording is stopped automatically. If the value is set to "Nothing", this setting is disabled. The initial set value is "Nothing".

    Recording speed

    "Recording speed " to be set the suitable speed for narrator or playback speed of cassette tape. The default set value is "Normal speed (1X)" for normal case. When you dubbing from double speed cassette tape, set the value to be "Double speed (2X)".


    4) The opened folder when new creation

    Herein dialog box is set your selected folder list whenever you create a new project.
    We recommend you to create folder to collect the project file of audio books.
    You can directly input the folder name into text box or push the folder selection button then select your designated folder.

    Push the folder selection button which is located very right at bottom of this dialog, once you push the bottom, folder list view dialog will pop up.
    Note) If the directory structure is complicated in your hard disk, it will be takes a time to recognize the folder list view.



    Press Shift + Tab key, you can select the folder by Arrow key.

    Note) It is easy to create new folder on this dialog that push Tab key then select the new folder command button that will be automatically created new folder.
    Input name of folder and press Enter key then to select the created folder by allow key and press Enter key.
  2. Input or select values, and press Enter key.

6 Editing

6-1 Selecting the multi range

You can select the multi-section or multi-phrase on the section or phrase list, and edit at the same time.
This section explains, how to select multi-range. (Only available to select the multi range which are continual sections or phrases)
  1. Specify the first position or the last position
  2. Press Shift + Up Arrow key or Shift + Down allow key, you can select the multi-range.
    Note) If you wish to specify the all select, select "All select (L)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + A key.

6-2 Editing the section

This section explains how to edit the section.

6-2-1 Joining the section

To join two or more selected section, do the following.
  1. Specify the multi-section to be joined. For more detail about it, see "6-1 Selecting the multi range".
  2. Select "Join (J)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + M key.
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key to join.
  4. Result) Specified sections are jointed.

6-2-2 Splitting the section

To split the section from specified phrase list, do the following.
  1. Specify desired phrase which you wish to split to be a next section.
  2. Select "Split section (S) from menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + Q key.
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key to split.
  4. Result) New section is created that first phrase to be specified phrase.
    Note) If you specify the first phrase, you can not split the section.

6-2-3 Deleting the section

To delete one or more section, do the following.
  1. Specify desired section more than one. For more detail about it, see "6-1 Selecting the multi range".
  2. Select "Delete (D)" from menu "Edit (E)" or press Delete key.
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key to delete.
  4. Result) Specified sections are deleted.

6-2-4 Deleting all the section

To delete all the section, do the following.
  1. Specify the section list on the main dialog.
  2. Select "All delete (E)" from menu "Edit (E)".
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key to delete.
  4. Result) All the section is deleted.

6-2-5 Inserting the section

To insert the new section, do the following.
  1. Specify desired section where you insert the new section.
  2. Select "Insert section (I)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Shift + Insert key.
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key to insert.
  4. Result) New section is created just above your specified section.

6-3 Editing the phrase

This section explains how to edit the phrase.

6-3-1 Joining the phrase

To join two or more selected phrase, do the following.
  1. Specify the multi-phrase to be joined. For more detail about it, see "6-1 Selecting the multi range".
  2. Select "Join (J)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + M key.
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key to join.
  4. Result) Specified phrase are jointed.
    Note) If the error message of "Unable to join these phrases" will pop up, then execute the build book function when you selected PCM as recording audio format, or execute the audio export function when you selected MP3 as recording audio format.

6-3-2 Splitting the phrase

To split the phrase from specified phrase, do the following.
  1. Specify desired phrase which you wish to split.
  2. Select "Split phrase (H) from the menu "Edit (E)" or press the Ctrl + P key, then "Phrase splitting" dialog will pop up.


  1. Select the split position with Right or Left Arrow key and whenever change the split position, automatically playback the phrase from your specified position.
    If you press F5 key, then playback from your specified position, and press F5 key playback will stop.
    Note) If selected the beginning of position or end of position on phrase , it unable to split the phrase.
  2. Check dialog will pop up, press Enter key to confirm.
  3. Result) The selected phrase is split.
    Note) When you click right mouse button on the wave form of the phrase, it can be displayed whole wave form and then once again click right mouse button, it will be returned.

6-3-3 Deleting the phrase

To delete one or more phrase, do the following.
  1. Specify desired phrase more than one. For more detail about it, see "6-1 Selecting the multi range".
  2. Select "Delete (D)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Delete key.
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key to delete.
  4. Result) Specified phrase are deleted.

6-3-4 Deleting all the phrase

To delete all the phrase, do the following.
  1. Specify phrase list on the main dialog.
  2. Select "All delete (E)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key to delete.
  4. Result) All the phrase in the specified section is deleted.

6-4 Cut, copy and paste

Herein explains how to cut, copy, and paste for the specified section or phrase.

6-4-1 Cut, copy and paste to the section unit

The section data can be handled and compiled by copy, cut and paste like a word processor.
You can remove the section using cut and paste function and you can copy the section to the other section using copy and paste function.

To remove the section, do the following.

  1. Specify the section to be removed, then select "Cut (T)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + X key.
  2. Specify removed position into the section list, then select "Paste (P)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + V key.
  3. Result) Removed the specified section.
    Note) You can select multi-section to remove.

    To copy the section, do the following.
  1. Specify the section to be copy, then select "Copy (C)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + C key.
  2. Specify copied position into the section list, then select "Paste (P)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + V key.
  3. Result) Copied the specified section.
    Note) You can select multi-section to copy.

6-4-2 Cut, copy and paste to the phrase unit

The phrase data can be handled and compiled by copy, cut and paste like a word processor.

You can remove the phrase using cut and paste function and you can copy the phrase to the other section using copy and paste function.

To remove the phrase, do the following.

  1. Specify the phrase to be removed, then select "Cut (T)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + X key.
  2. Specify removed position into the phrase list, then select "Paste (P)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + V key.
  3. Result) Removed the specified phrase.
    Note) You can select multi-phrase to remove.
To copy the phrase, do the following.
  1. Specify the phrase to be copied, then select "Copy (C)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + C key.
  2. Specify copied position into the phrase list, then select "Paste (P)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + V key.
  3. Result) Copied the specified phrase.
    Note) You can select multi-phrase to copy.

6-5 Undo for the editing

Herein explains how to undo for the editing.

For instance, if you deleted the section mistakenly, you can undo the editing operation up to last ten times.

To undo for the previous editing, do the following.
  1. Select "Undo (U)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + Z key.
  2. Result) Canceled your previous editing.
  3. Select "Undo (U)" from the menu "Edit (E)" or press Ctrl + Z key.
  4. Result) Canceled your previous editing.

    Note) You can cancel for previous editing as Join, Split, Delete, All delete, Insert, Cut, Paste, Page setting, Group setting, Mark setting, Level setting, Section property, Phrase property.
    Note) Once you done Recording, DAISY import, Audio import, Audio export, Text import, Build book, and CD writing, can not undo the last editing. 

6-6 Input the Search index by DAISY format

PRS can be index for Heading, Level, Group and Page by DAISY format..

6-6-1 Setting the heading

Heading is text information for each section.
Although, you can search specified character string in heading text information then directly jump to searched section.
For more detail about it, see " 4-5-1 Heading search".
 
This section explains how to input heading information in the section.
  1. Select the section which you wish to index a heading information.
  2. Press Enter key or select "Property (R)" from the menu "Edit (E)".



  3. "Section property" dialog will pop up that you may set level, heading and comment.
    You can use Tab key to jump the level setting, heading and comment.
    Input text information in heading box.
    If the heading box is blank, automatically input as "Heading" in the section list.
    For more detail about the level setting, see "6-6-2 Setting the level".
    For more detail about comment, see "6-7-2 Comment".
    You can playback specified section on this dialog using F5 key.
    Although you can move next section pressing Alt + Right Arrow key and move previous section pressing Alt + Left Arrow key.
  4. Once you in put the heading information, press Enter key .
  5. Result) Added heading information into section.
    Note) You can use heading information when you using heading search.

6-6-2 Setting the level 

Herein explains the level.
Level described the relative hierarchy of the major structural element of a book, for example, a book consisting a chapter, section and subsection, level will be described to correspond, chapter=level 1. section = level 2 and subsection = level 3, PRS can be describe the level from 1 to 6.


To set the section level, do the following.

  1. Select the section which you wish to index a level.
  2. To up the level structure, press F11 key or select "Level up (V)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
    To down the level structure, press Shift + F11 key or select "Level down (O)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  3. Result) Level structure has been set to the specified section.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key, the voice guidance will be announce the level structure in the specified section.
    Note) You also index the level structure on "Section property" dialog.
    Note) You can select multi-section to index the level structure

6-6-3 Setting the page

Herein explains the page.

You can set the page information on each phrase.
There are several setting to index the page information on "Phrase property" dialog as (1) Auto page, (2) Manual page, (3) Front page, and (4) Special page.
(1) Setting the auto page
(2) Setting the manual page

Auto page can be coexist with manual page. For instance, "page 10" in manual page setting is given to the phrase No.10, and auto page No. is given to the position of the phrase numbers 20 and 30, the phrase No. 10 is allocated to page 10, the phrase No.20 to page 11 and the phrase No.30 to page 12.

(3) Setting the front page
  • Front page is usually index by Roman alphabet such as "I", "II", "III", "IV", before use the numeric number page, you can input roman alphabet on "Phrase property" dialog.
  • Use front page command to index on introduction such as dissertation.
  • When you set the front page in the phrase list which described square bracket number. When you press F12 (F9) key, the voice guidance will be announce "Attribute, page, front, XX".
(4) Setting the special page
  • Special page is to described such as "1-34", "2-iv", that mixed the numerical number and roman alphabet using hyphen.
  • When you set the special page in the phrase list which described angle bracket number. When you press F12 (F9) key, the voice guidance will be announce "Attribute, page, special, XX ".

To set the page on the phrase, do the following.
  1. Select the phrase which you wish to index a page.
  2. Press Enter key or select "Property (R)" from the menu "Edit (E)".



  3. "Phrase property" dialog will pop up that you may set page, group and mark.
    For more detail about the group, see "6-6-4 Setting the group".
    For more detail about the mark, see "6-7-1 Setting the Mark".
    To set what kind of page you wish to index, you can select page from "No page, Auto page, Manual page, Front page and Special page where you select Manual page or Front page or Special page, you may input page number or text in the box.
  4. Press Enter key
  5. Result) Index the page on phrase.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key, the voice guidance will be announce the page information.
    Note) If you determine the page number where you set the auto page, press F10 key.
Although alternative way to set auto page on phrase.
  1. Select the phrase which you wish to index a auto page.
  2. Press P key or select "Page (A)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  3. Result) Set the auto page on the selected phrase.
     

    Remove the page from the phrase.

  1. Select the phrase which you wish to remove the page.
  2. Press P key or select "Page (A)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  3. Result) Removed the page on the selected phrase.

6-6-4 Setting the group

Herein explains to set the group attribute.
You can set the group attribute on each phrase.
For example, to set the group attribute on beginning of the paragraph, you can search where is beginning of paragraph using DAISY player.
 

To set the group on phrase.

  1. Select the phrase which you wish to index a group.
  2. Press Enter Key or select "Property (R)" from the menu "Edit (E)".



  3. "Phrase property" dialog will pop up that you may set page, group, and mark.
    For more detail about the page, see "6-6-3 Setting the page".
    For more detail about the mark, see "6-7-1 Setting the Mark".
    To set the group attribute as "On", if remove the group attribute as "Off", and press Enter key.
  4. Result) Set the group on the phrase.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key, the voice guidance will be announce the phrase information.
Although alternative way to set group on phrase.
  1. Select the phrase which you wish to index a group.
  2. Press G key or select "Group (G)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  3. Result) Set the group on the phrase.

    Remove the group from the phrase.

  4. Select the phrase which you wish to remove a group from phrase.
  5. Press G key or select "Group (G)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  6. Result) Removed the group on the phrase.

Note) Can not set the group on the first phrase in section.

6-6-5 Input search index under DAISY format during recording

PRS can be index search information during recording.

6-7 Mark and comment

Search Index by DAISY format (Heading, Level, Group and Page) enables DAISY reader to search the specific spot.
On the other hand, Mark and Comment are effective function for the editor to create DAISY book.
Your created DAISY format is not affected toward any information of the Mark nor information of the Comment.

6-7-1 Setting the mark

Herein explains to set the mark attribute.

You can set the mark attribute on each phrase.
For example, if you mark phrase attribute, it can be saved to find the specific phrase which needs some collection later.
And it is possible to remove between the phrase which you have marked. For more detail about it, see "4-5-3 Mark jump".

To set the mark on phrase, do the following.
  1. Select the phrase which you wish to index a mark.
  2. Press Enter Key or select "Property (R)" from the menu "Edit (E)".



  3. "Phrase property" dialog will pop up that you may set page, group, and mark.
    For more detail about the page, see "6-6-3 Setting the page".
    For more detail about the group, see "6-6-4 Setting the group".
    To set the mark attribute as "On", if remove the mark attribute as "Off", and press Enter key.
  4. Result) Set the mark on the phrase.
    Note)
    Press F12 (F9) key, the voice guidance will be announce the phrase information.

    Although alternative way to set mark on phrase.
  1. Select the phrase which you wish to index the mark.
  2. Press M key or select "Mark (M)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  3. Result) Set the mark on the phrase.

    Remove the mark from the phrase.
  1. Select the phrase which you wish to remove a mark from phrase.
  2. Press M key or select "Mark (M)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  3. Result) Removed the mark on the phrase.

    Delete all marks in the book.
  1. Select "Delete all marks (K)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  2. Result) Deleted all marks in the book.

    Set the mark during recording.

6-7-2 Setting the comment

You can set the comment information for each section.
DAISY editor can write memo in this comment area.  

To input comment information in the section, do the following.
  1. Select the section which you wish to index the comment information.
  2. Press Enter key or select "Property (R)" from the menu "Edit (E)".



  3. "Section property" dialog will pop up that you may set level, heading and comment.
    You can use Tab key to jump the level setting, heading and comment.
    Input text information in the comment box.
    For more detail about heading, see "6-6-1 Setting the heading".
    For more detail about the level setting, see "6-6-2 Setting the level".
    You can playback specified section on this dialog using F5 key.
    Although you can move next section pressing Alt + Right Arrow key and move previous section pressing Alt + Left Arrow key.
  4. Once you input the comment information, press Enter key .
  5. Result) Added comment information into section.

    Delete all comments in the book.
  1. Select "Delete all marks (N)" from the menu "Edit (E)".
  2. Result) Deleted all comments in the book.

7 CD writing

  7-1 Build book

Herein explains the Build book.
This function must be run before CD writing, and this function is used when the project needs to be clean up by editing.
You will be able to located and delete any audio files that are no longer being used.
In each case of Build book function, DAISY format files(Ncc.html and SMIL files) are generated.
 
To execute build book, do the following.
  1. Select "Build book (B)" from the the menu "Tool (T)" or press Ctrl + B key.
  2. "Build book" dialog will pop up, and press Enter key to execute Build book.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key while running, you will hear how much percentage has been done by the voice guidance.



  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up when finished Build book, then press Enter key.
    Note) When you select the recording format as MP3 format, it will be omitted to clean up the audio file. The process of clean up audio files is only applied for PCM format.

7-2 Selecting the CD drive

Herein explains how to select the CD drive for CD writing.
To select the CD-R/RW drive, do the following.
  1. Select "CD-R drive (D)" from the menu "Option (O)", or press Ctrl + D key.



  2. "Setting of the CD-R drive" dialog will pop up.
    First, you may select "Available CD-R drive".
    Next, you may select "Creation the temporary image". If you choose "On", the temporary image file is created in the program folder. If you choose "Off (On the fly)", the temporary image file is not created.
  3. Press Enter key when you selected these settings.
    Note) Once you set it, it will be default value whenever you start the PRS.

7-3 CD writing

Herein explains how to execute CD writing.
To write the project data on CD, do the following.
  1. Select "CD writing (W)" from the menu "Tool (T)", or Ctrl + W key.



  2. "Setting of the CD writing" dialog will pop up.
    This setting dialog, you may set up as [Writing speed],[Purpose of use],[Last session] and [Post editing by PLEXTALK Portable Recorder].

    Writing speed In "Writing speed" box, you can select the available writing speed in the CD by CD-R/RW drive.
    Purpose of use In "Purpose of use" box, you can choose the type of CD creating for "Master project" or "Distribution copy".
    "Master project" can be opened directly by PRS, but "Distribution copy" cannot be opened.
    Last session

    If you wish to write the project data to the CD which is already has other project data, you may select whether "Valid" or "Invalid" in this "Last session" box.
    If you choose "Valid", added project data and existing projects data can be read by your PC, but existing projects can not be played by PLEXTALK or other DAISY player.
    Please do not misunderstand that this function is not to create multi-title CD.
    If you choose last session "Invalid", you can read only the writing project.

    Post editing by PLEXTALK Portable Recorder

    In "Post editing by PLEXTALK Portable Recorder", you may choose post editing by PLEXTALK Portable Recorder in the box command "On" or "Off".
    If you set "On", you can edit PLEXTALK Portable Recorder in future, but set "Off", you can not edit the project anymore.
    So be sure to select as "Off", when you are creating the Digital Talking Book for book on loan.


  3. Press Enter key when set these settings.
  4. "CD writing" dialog will pop up, press Enter key to start CD writing.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key while running, you will hear how much percentage has been done by the voice guidance.



  5. Confirmation dialog will pop up when completed the CD writing, then press Enter key.

8 Features function

  8-1 DAISY import

Herein explains the DAISY import function.
Using this function, you can import easily your desired talking book contents that created by DAISY2.0 or DAISY2.02 format.
And also it can be useful to merge the several DAISY title into one project.

To execute the DAISY import function, do the following.
  1. Select "DAISY import (D)" from the menu "Tool (T)".



  2. "Setting of the DAISY import" dialog will pop up, then you may input the name of NCC file (full path) into box directly or specify the NCC file on "File select" button that press Alt + F key to specify your desired NCC file on the open file dialog.
  3. Select "Audio format conversion" from "On" or "Off", then press Enter key.
    If you select "Off", audio data will be copied without format conversion.
    If you select "On", audio data will be converted to the same format as "Recording audio format".



  4. "DAISY import" dialog will pop up, then press Enter key to start DAISY import.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key while running, you will hear how much percentage has been done by the voice guidance.
  5. Confirmation dialog will pop up when completed DAISY import, then press Enter key.
    Note) PRS can import the DAISY2.0 or DAISY2.02 book consist of the audio format that listed in the following table.

8-2 Audio import

Herein explains the audio import function.
Using this function, you can import and edit your desired audio data (PCM, DAISY ADPCM2, MP3, MP2) easily.
And also you can adjust parameters at "Setting of the recording function" (See "5-7 Setting for recording").

To execute the audio import function, do the following.
  1. Select "Audio import (A)" from the menu "Tool (T)".
  2. "Setting of the recording function" dialog will pop up, then you may set it, and press Enter key.
    For more detail about it, see "5-7 Settings for recording".



  3. "Setting of the audio import" dialog will pop up, then you will select the audio file to import.
    You may input directly the name of audio file (full path) into blank column.
    Otherwise you may select "File select" button or press Alt + F key, then specify your desired audio file on the open file dialog.
    After selecting the audio file, then press Enter key.



  4. "Audio import" dialog pop up, press Enter key to start audio import.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key while running, you will hear how much percentage has been done by the voice guidance.
  5. Confirmation dialog will pop up when completed audio import, then press Enter key.

8-3 Audio export

Herein explains the audio export function.
Using this function, you can transform all of the audio data format in the project into your desired audio format.

To execute the audio export function, do the following.
  1. Select "Audio export (E)" from the menu "Tool (T)".



  2. "Sound format setting" dialog will pop up, select your desired output audio format in the box, and press Enter key.
  3. "Input the project folder name" dialog will pop up, then input the project folder name in the blank column, and press Enter key.
  4. Confirmation dialog will pop up, press Enter key.
    Note) The project folder name is allows alphabetical or numerical half size code or under bar up to 63 characters.



  5. "Audio export" dialog will pop up, then press Enter key to start audio export.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key while running, you will hear how much percentage has been done by the voice guidance.
  6. Confirmation dialog of opening the exported project will pop up, then press Enter key if you wish to do so.

8-4 Text import

Herein explains the text import function.
Using this function, you can import and edit your desired text data easily.
And also you can select TTS engine, and adjust parameters at "Setting of the recording function" (See "5-7 Setting for recording").

To execute the text import, do the following.
  1. Select "text import (T)" from the menu "Tool (T)".
  2. "Setting of the recording function" dialog will pop up, then you may set it, and press Enter key.
    For more detail about it, see "5-7 Settings for recording".



  3. "Setting of the text import" dialog will pop up, then you will select the text file to import.
    You may input directly the name of text file (full path) into blank column.
    Otherwise you may select "File select" button or press Alt + F key, then specify your desired text file on the open file dialog.
    After selecting the text file, then press Enter key.



  4. "Selection of the TTS engine" dialog will pop up.
    You may select your desired text speech engine by using Arrow keys, then press Enter key.
    For more detail about it, see "1-8 Select the language".



  5. "Text import" dialog will pop up, press Enter key to start the text import.
    Note) Press F12 (F9) key while running, you will hear how much percentage has been done by the voice guidance.
  6. Confirmation dialog will pop up when completed text import, then press Enter key.

8-5 Detecting the pause time

Herein explains the detecting the pause time function.
Using this function, you can recognize the pause time containing in each phrases.
For example, after you execute the DAISY import function, the value of "pause time" is always blank in the phrase list.
If you use this function in that case, you will be able to know the pause time.

To detect the pause time, do the following.

  1. Select "Detecting pause time (P)" from the menu "Tool (T)".



  2. "Detecting the pause time" dialog will pop up, press Enter key to start detecting.
    Note)
    Press F12 (F9) key while running, you will hear how much percentage has been done by the voice guidance.
  3. Confirmation dialog will pop up when completed it, then press Enter key.
